The cottage

Your own cottage in a peaceful village

Lower Farm Cottage is a characterful one-bedroom cottage on Thame Road in Piddington, a small village on the Oxfordshire–Buckinghamshire border. Inside you’ll find exposed beams, a cosy sitting room with a fireplace, a dining table by the window and a fully equipped kitchen.

Upstairs there’s a double bed and a separate single, so it suits couples, friends, or a small family. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

Outside, the wide lawn and picnic area look out towards the fields. Deer are often seen in the garden early in the morning and in the evening.

Mind your head: like many old cottages, there are low beams and doorways.

“This place is everything you look for in a holiday cottage. A charming old cottage, traditionally furnished, clean and very well equipped. Situated in a little village it is a haven of peace and tranquility. Just watch out for the low beams and doors!”
